Operation Disney 2021 was the name The Dichoso Family (The Family) gave to their 2021 trip to Walt Disney World (WDW) in Orlando. Florida. They planned to visit WDW during December 19-24, 2021.  What they learned from the 2021 trip is that “Burdens Bring Blessings” . They almost did not arrive on Sunday, December 19th, as planned. One of The Family members test positive for COVID-19. Luckily, she tested negative for COVID-19 three days prior to flying to Orlando.

Breakfast or Afternoon Snack – A Cool Café on Fenwick Island

My daughters and I found this cool café on Fenwick Island called “High Tide Coffee & Bowls“. It has the best coffee and super food bowls on the island. We have visited the High Tide cafe twice and loved it.  Please drop by this café when you are at the Delaware Beaches.  You will not be disappointed.

The ocean was always calling, I finally answered.

We used to sit for hours, my mom, dad, sister and I. We would dream of what the future would look like. It continued as my children grew wildly at the beach each summer, day in and day out we filled our souls with sand, sun and ocean.

We would scatter our thoughts into the universe. Like little seeds they slowly clumped together and here we are. A small family business that brings family and friends together. A place that nourishes the soul as much as the body, that fills you up on the inside as much as it fills your heart. We feel the warmth of our heritage shining down on us and all those who have become a part of our little family. We aim to be a locally focused cafe that brings people together and is environmentally conscious.

When I saw this little shop abandoned during 2020 craziness, I decided to start this business so my family could have a place to work together, to provide jobs for for people and to create a space for community and nourishing good food. Cafe Miki – About

Miki and Michael are co-founders of Cafe Miki, and they love to travel, eat, and experiment with new ways of cooking. In 2016, they left the health care industry to start a bubble tea store in Richmond, VA.

Cafe Miki is their 2nd business concept and will feature American and Asian inspired treats. During our first phase of opening, we will feature: Super Premium Ice Cream, Milk Shakes, and Bubble Tea, all made fresh daily in-house. Our Ice Creams are made with 14% butterfat mix, with less than 50% air overrun…creating a rich and creamy product similar to other premium ice cream brands. Our featured flavors are: Durian, Taro, Thai Tea, and Vietnamese Coffee. We will also offer traditional favorites like Cookies And Cream, Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Sea Salt Caramel, as well as, vegan friendly and dairy-free ice cream options, made from coconut and oat milk bases.

Potomac Mills, Woodbridge, Virginia

Potomac Mills is a shopping mall located in Woodbridge, Virginia in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Located near Interstate 95 between Smoketown Road, Telegraph Road and the Prince William Parkway.

The mall was the first in the Mills Corporation’s chain of shopping malls and has over 225 retailers and features an 18-screen AMC movie theater. The mall was expanded in 1993, adding a wing anchored by Marshalls and JCPenney Outlet Store, along with a Burlington Coat Factory. Cohoes Fashions was also an early tenant and later closed in 1987, being replaced by a Woodward & Lothrop outlet store. Other original tenants included IKEA, Sears Outlet and Waccamaw Pottery. The IKEA location at Potomac Mills was one of the company’s earliest retail outlets in America, and proved so popular that it eventually required a new, dedicated building adjacent to the primary Potomac Mills complex.
